HomePod Lossless/Atmos music streaming issues with brief pauses

I'm experiencing issues with this HomePod streaming of lossless/atmos music on Apple Music.

Homepod model is NQHW2X/A running 18.3 connected to a 5ghz wifi network.

Not sure if there is a bug with version 18+ but ever since it was updated from 17 to 18.3 the music will briefly pause then carry on playing. This happens on every song streamed whether directly from the HomePod itself or from my iPhone via airplay.

I've tried all the troubleshooting guides that are on here and on Reddit with nothing fixing this issue. I have tried turning off Lossless and Atmos which seems to have improved the issues I'm experiencing however I would like to keep Lossless and Atmos turned on if I could.

Is this a known issue or is there something else I can do to prevent songs briefly pausing?
