Downloaded podcast episodes won’t delete.

I know how to delete podcast downloads and have been doing it successfully for years.

But now they won’t delete. If I swipe left and click remove, it doesn’t go anywhere. Or, if I try it another way and hold my finger on it and when the menu comes up I choose remove (or delete?), same thing, the menu goes away and the episode remains.

I cannot get any downloads to go away!
