How can I stop ads from disrupting my speech reader?

I use speech reader for news articles, especially with ads. The speech reader seems to get disrupted by ads and does not read the article to the end. In fact, it reads the ads and then jumps down to the next articles listing. I have tried to see if there is a way to block or remove ads to allow the content to be read, but there doesn't seem to be a feature. Can I get some assistance with this, please?
