How to sync iPhone with iTunes wirelessly

I sync my iPhone with iTunes through USB now. Each time of sync I have to plug in iPhone with a USB cord. I want to sync my iPhone with iTunes wirelessly. But when checking "sync this iPhone over Wi-Fi" and unchecking "Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected", it will not start sync. And I do not know how to get sync started. I need help on this. Thanks.
