Sharing pages PDF with customers who can’t open the PDF from pages
I email people a PDF from pages but they can’t open the file
From macOS, iOS, or iPadOS Pages? Helps to know which you are using and the version of it.
It is also important that you do not use the File menu > Share… Send a Copy panel as it will send a Pages document as an attachment. Instead, you need to use File menu > Export To > PDF > Send a Copy > Mail to attach the PDF.
Anyone with a decent PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader, Apple Preview, Foxit, etc.) should be able to legibly open a PDF exported from Pages.
