When I try to save to PDF on word, and click "Export", word closes and it does not save to PDF. I get a message "There was an unexpected problem with Microsoft Word and we apologize for the inconvenience". When I go to "file" there is no Export option.
I have deleted the software and redownloaded.
I have reset the printer settings.
I have shut down and restarted my computer. Nothing has worked.

I cannot reproduce this issue here. My Word Save As > PDF works just fine on Big Sur, Sonoma, and Sequoia.

One saves a PDF from MS Word as File menu > Save As… > PDF. There isn't an Export menu item for Word in Office 2021 for Mac.
