iphone 16 pro max podcast play button not resonding

I open the podcast app on my iPhone 16 pro max and push the big play button on an episode and nothing at all happens. I can hold the play button, push the play button repeatedly but still my podcast won’t play. If I ask Siri to play a podcast I can then control the player in control center with ease. But Siri messes up playing the one I need to listen to. Help!! What do I do. My iPhone is current on all updates.

Apple Podcast app not working after update to iOS 18.3.2 I just updated my iPhone 11Pro to iOS 18.3.2 and now my podcast app is completely nonfunctional. It just shows the Home screen with the small ID circle not showing my photo. None of the buttons at the bottom do anything: Browse, Library, Search are all useless. How do I fix this?

Apple Podcast app not working after updating to iOS 18 Since updating to iOS 18 over a month ago I haven’t been able to play any podcasts using the Apple Podcast app. The app opens but if I try to load or play a podcast I just get a spinning circle. I’ve restarted my phone several times but no change. I’m reluctant to delete my podcast app and reinstall because I don’t want to lose my history and people on Reddit say they’ve tried that with no success in resolving the issue.
