iPad Pro stuck on "Verifying Update"

While using my Ipad two days ago, I was disconnected from cell service and got a message that my Ipad needed to be updated before using. I updated, and my screen has the message Verifying Update and I cannot do anything else. I have already tried the volume and side button more times that I can count. Is there some other kind of reset?

If a forced-restart of your iPad does not resolve the problem, you might be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.


Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
