How to transfer iTunes library from a broken laptop to a new one?

i've lost my itunes on my broken laptop, how can I get them onto my new laptop. I have an itunes account but still cannot play my music.

It somewhat depends on what is broken. If feasible, extract drive from laptop, place in an external drive bay, attach to a new computer, copy out the folder ..\Users\<User>\Music\iTunes from the external drive to new a location, either on the internal drive of the new computer, or a dedicated external drive. Press and hold shift when launching iTunes and use the Choose Library... opton to open the library from its new path.
