Apple Music mixing up classical music movements and pieces

Can Apple Music play classical works moving from movement 1, through 2, to 3 etc? Can it recognise whole works? And keep together the movements of a symphony, or for instance the 32 pieces that comprise Bach's Goldberg Variations?

Apple Music Classical no longer displays track title or composer on car's Bluetooth display I started using Apple Music Classical on the day it was first released. For the first couple of weeks, everything worked great. From a technical aspect, it still does, but its human factors have shot sharply downward due to one change: when first released, the first information line on the car's Bluetooth display screen would show the title and composer of the current track, and the conductor and orchestra on the secondary line. The second line remains unchanged, but now the main title line just shows the album title, like "50 Early Music & Baroque Masterpieces". You have no clue what the title of the current track is, or who composed it, without picking up the phone and looking at the screen. This is a startlingly bad idea while driving. I sure wish someone would fix this...

Shortcuts to Apple Music no longer working post Sonoma update Hi all, Since installing Sonoma, I've realized that my Shortcuts to the Music app are no longer working (they are functioning normally on iOS/iPadOS 17). The shortcuts were downloaded from the Gallery provided by Apple itself (so they are not third-party shortcuts). The first one is the shortcut "Play One and Shuffle". This one was very handy for me, as the Music app provides no easy way to shuffle all my library. The second one is "Play Entire Current Album". Running them on Sonoma does absolutely nothing, but I'm pretty sure they were working before (under Ventura) since I used to rely on them a lot. Any shortcuts-savvy out there that could point me what the problem is? Thanks in advance! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple Music "work and movement" option not showing (and syncing) properly Hi everyone, So my problem is that when I edit a song added to my library and give it a work and a movement name, after I finish with the songs in the same work, I see this little icon. This in itself wouldn't be a problem on my Mac, but on my iPhone I can't see the work title. All in all, the name of works don't show bold and highlighted on my iPhone above the songs (movements), and I see a little cloud icon on my Mac (probably meaning some kind of syncing problem). Also, if you are playing on Shuffle, go to Controls menu and set it to Shuffle by albums (instead of by songs).

Hi,

You should be able to play music in the correct sequence. This is not an issue that I have had bearing in mind that I have a substantial collection of classical music.

If you have included all the relevant metadata, specifically track and disc number, and sorted by album name, the music should play in the correct order.
