How do I remove the new Apple Intelligence RootKit?

I am very dissatisfied with the way apple in handling the integration of Apple intelligence. Nobody on the team seems to have an answer for me. I would like Apple Intelligence to be completely removed from my system. It is literally worse than any virus I have ever had. Not only did I not have a choice on the matter of it being on my computer, but it has tons of pop ups, it's messing up my my C++ programs that relied on things being in certain memory locations, it's taking up space on my computer, it's logging my data without my consent, and it has administrative access to my files. This is one of the most intrusive viruses I have ever had on my computer and I cannot remove it. It is essentially a rootkit.

On top of this, it is genuinely condescending. I do not need apple intelligence, when my own intelligence is sufficient to administer my computer. I am the system admin, not apple intelligence, so I would really like to have my autonomy back on my own computer. Especially when I spent a used car amount of money on this thing. I already tried disabling apple intelligence, but somehow it has increase in size. All of this seems extremely unethical.

The biggest problem that I have is that I was not given an option to say no. Once I updated my computer a little box popped up that would not let me use my computer without hitting continue. Conveniently, the box popped up with no information as to what I was agreeing to and the cancel button was greyed out. I did not think much of it, as I assumed it was just a quick update on the new software, but when I clicked continue, all of a sudden the information showed up in the box. Surprise, surprise this was for apple intelligence. I am not happy that I was essentially coerced into agreeing to put this virus on my computer.

I think that apple is making a big mistake with this one, as I am strongly considering never purchasing an apple product again. Until they release a fix for this virus, I am going to continue to call until my issue is resolved.

Thank you.

That's definitely an option, but it's very complacent. If apple gets enough negative feedback they will eventually change how the system works. My goal in writing this is in the hopes that changes are made. I know I am not the only person who is dissatisfied with the way apple is handling this.

You are not providing Apple with negative feedback by posting your rant here.

Go right ahead and switch platforms. People are already complaining about Microsoft’s CoPilot not being able to be turned off. Similar complaints about Google’s Gemini. AI is here to stay whether we like it or not.

You will just have to learn to live with turning off Apple Intelligence and not using it. At least you can turn it off. Installing a Linux distribution might work but I don’t know what that would mean for your coding work.

What we want vs what we have to live with can be tough to deal with.

I disabled it a while ago, and it has increased in size. Turning it off means absolutely nothing to me. That switch could literally do nothing on the back end, and the fact that Apple Intelligence has increased in sized while it has been disabled is not a good sign. If it can be disabled, then why can't I delete it? If the OS is dependent on Apple Intelligence, then disabling it should break my computer. I want it removed completely. If it is not necessary for the function of the OS, then I should be able to delete it. If I cannot delete it, because it will break the OS, then disabling it won't actually turn off all of its functions. I do not understand why Apple is being so hard headed with this one. I just want this virus removed from my operating system.
