iPad error when trying to restore from iTunes backup

I backed up my old iPad (6th generation, iOS 17.xx) to my itunes on my Win PC; then got my new iPad Generation 10th (2022) , and wanted to restore from iTunes my backup, it starts, then give me an error after couple of minutes.. (showing that 20mn remaining, then 19 then get the error).. new iPad has been updated to latest iOS (18.3.1) .. Any Idea what to do? what to try? thank you.
