Notes now intrusively checks hand-written math formulae.
Whose bright idea was this?
How do I disable this? It is painfully annoying. Why does Apple keep making its software unusable? New poster child for worse is better.

If you specifically want (just) Apple Intelligence Math Notes off: Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions {enable} and then Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Intelligence & Siri > Math Results > Don’t Allow.
Or you can turn off the big knob: Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Apple Intelligence > {disable}

Remove the equal sign and you should be fine.
Thanks, but I want it turned off. The equal sign should not be the “switch” to disable this ”feature.” That’s kind of like saying if you don’t want your pie to burn, don’t turn on your oven when you bake.
I like it, but yeah, it must be a way to disable it
