Can I use a different SIM card in my US iPhone 11 while traveling in the UK?
I live in the US and use ATT for my iPhone 11, and ATT told me it'd cost me $12/day for me to use my phone in the UK when I go on a trip.
I asked if I can install another SIM card, and the ATT representative freaked out and said "No!"
I'm not a techie person - is there something I can do other that buy a burner phone when I'm over there? I'm sort of "stuck" with ATT because I save a lot of money being part of a relative's Friends and Family plan.
If I CAN install a sim card while I'm in the UK, how do I do that? I'm a senior citizen/dinosaur, and have never opened the back of my iPhone. Was the ATT rep lying to me?
Thanks so much - I've tried researching this online, but have been hitting dead ends.
