How do I update contacts to new SIM after switching from eSIM?

I have gotten a physical sim and switched over from my e sim but all my contacts are still wanting to use my e sim that no longer exists. Can I update them all at the same time to just use the new sim?

Your contacts are usually tied to your iCloud or email address. Go to Settings > Apps > Contacts and add your account, then go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Contacts > Contact Sync and turn it on. All your contacts should show up. But in the case that your carrier does support importing SIM contacts to your iPhone, if you go to Contacts in your Settings there will be a "Import SIM Contacts."

My contacts still like to use my last e sim but it has since been deleted. When I text somebody It sends as a text message and not an iMessage. I have to manually update all my contacts to use the new sim but I was wondering if I could do that in bulk instead of one at a time.

You probably want to take that up with your carrier.
