Shooting videos in 4:3 format using QuickTake

hello! I really need some help.

I ran into a problem on the 16 pro max: I can't shoot videos in 4:3 format

before that, there was a 12 pro max iPhone and everything was standard. I went into the "photo" mode, selected the 4:3 format and pulled the slider to the right; that's it, the video is recorded in the aspect ratio I need.

this does not work on 16 pro max, it immediately switches to 16:9 format, automatically

I've been digging through the settings, but I haven't found anything related to this.

I've also asked myself this question on the Internet, but all I've found are people who are sitting with the same problem, and there's no answer or solution to the problem anywhere.

Can you tell me what can be done?

thank you!

The 4:3 aspect ratio is what tube type televisions were which haven't been around for quite some time now so I can understand why it's been omitted. QuickTake cameras are also around 30 years old made from '94 thru '97.

The only solution I can think of is video editing software that can convert 16:9 to 4:3. I've never used such software so I can't make any program recommendations. Hopefully someone has some ideas.
