How do I remove a stuck wrist band from an Apple Watch using warm water?

I haven't been able to get a wrist band off my Apple Watch in several weeks. I even brought it to an Apple Store but they couldn't get it out either.

So I looked online for solutions and found a video that showed a man putting the area of the watch where the release button is being under warm water. It worked in under a minute. Below is the link to the video.
