Anyone else lose their iMessages and now they’re all green?

Maddy — me also.

I have an iPhone SE 6 2nd gen. Talked to support - did everything suggested (there was a link posted here but NONE of it worked). I am going to factory reset my phone (you need a computer to do so. And I was told by support the latest iOS (18.3.1) is “very powerful” so might not work with old technology.

basically means if your phone is old get ready to buy a new one. No worries as the iPhone SE is set to debut a new model this week (how terribly convenient) 🙄

So if anyone in the future has this issue:

1) I purchased a new phone (somewhat needed to anyway).

2) Issue has to do with being reported as a spammer (needless to say unimpressed by that flagging). It can be resolved by talking to a senior specialist who reads a warning about it being unlocked and they could not unlock in the future. Suggest calling in, talking to a senior specialist and emphasizing they look specifically for an article with the spamming block on it.

All I can say is I believe the latest update broke my phone. The. End.
