Selecting a single frame from a 120 FPS video can be difficult, especially on a touch interface like an iPhone. However, it is not impossible with the right tools.
If an object moves very quickly, motion blur may be present in every frame, making it impossible to extract a crisp image.
If recorded with Apple’s Slow-Mo (240 FPS), selecting frames is easier.

Even thoughI can do it on my Mac, I don't see any way to do that on an iPhone. But I'm no expert on iPhone video stuff. My best shot (which didn't work) was to save the video to files, and then open it in the free VLC app. But I was disappointed to find saving a single frame wasn't there. But VLC gave me hope that maybe you can find another free app that does it.
Good Luck.
