How do I fix Pages constantly closing and disrupting workflow on MacBook Air?

I might switch to a different app like safari, command+tab back to pages and something else, say like finder pops up instead because pages has just gone m.i.a.

It's super irritating and is constantly disrupting my workflow. Has been going on for years and I'm all up to date etc.

Why does Pages do this and no other app?

How to get rid of blue outlines and black "help" boxes on my MacBook Pro? On my business website a blue outline shows when I click on a text box or drop down window. Also black boxes with white writing appear telling me to use the Tab button to navigate through my site. i never had this before. I attached a picture.ow do I get rid of these?
