removal of pages in Page layout document

Want to remove bulk/group of pages from a Page layout document. I tried the usual shift click command that works in Photos or desktop, and it didn't work. You would think the command would be similar throughout, but NO. Help please.

Is there a way to delete multiple pages (thumbnails)? I set up a template document for home inspections with many blank pages with pre-formatted tables in to drop images into and write text descriptions. Sometimes the report will be much shorter and I need to remove several of these pages. In an older version of Pages I was able to select multiple thumbnails over on the left and then delete them, easy peasy. Now I have to select one, hit delete, and do that over and over. Not the end of the world, but Is there a way to select multiple thumbnails to speed up this process?

How can I delete a page in the Pages document? I have a page layout document with two pages. Somehow I added a third page which doesn't have anything on it. I want to delete that page. However, when I follow the instructions for deleting a single page in a page layout document (making sure to select that one page) I encounter a question box that asks: Are you sure you want to delete all the content in your document? No, I certainly don't. So I have experimented with a test document and said yes to deleting my content thinking that it will delete just the third blank page. lt doesn't. All three pages (with the first two with content) are deleted. Can someone tell me how I can delete just my third page? Thanks...cworcester26 [Re-Titled by Moderator]

In a Pages page layout format document, every page is a section and thus, one can right-click on that specific thumbnail and delete it without compromising the entire document. You can use the command key to select multiple thumbnails and then delete them per the first sentence.

The Pages User Guide for Mac - Apple Support resolves any confusion that may exist contrasted with other Apple applications or the Finder.
