Unable to watch videos in Facebook through my HomePod

I can't get to watch Videos in Facebook through my Home pod. The bluetooth on thenIphone is on. Please help. Thanks in advance

Videos interrupt music on HomePod I bought a HomePod mini to listen to classical music. That’s all I want to do on it - don’t need it to do anything else. How can I make it just work for the Apple Music and Classical apps? If I’m browsing FB or the news or anything else with video on my iPhone it interrupts the music on my HomePod and starts playing there. I’ve checked all the settings and can’t find anything. I turned off all the AirPlay handoff settings and it still does it. I want the HomePod to only ever be used for playing music from Apple Music or Classical. I bought it to replace an Amazon Echo thinking it would be better, but this is actually worse.

HomePod does not show in Airplay list of devices Though my iPhone connects to the HomePod - e.g. I restart the HomePod from my phone every day - the device does not show up in the Airplay device list. My MacBook and my AppleTV appear in the list without fail every time. Bluetooth is on Both devices are on the same wifi network HomePod works fine via Siri iPhone works fine; e.g. even my iPhone camera opens when I use the PhotoBooth app on my laptop This problem occurs sporadicly. Maybe six times out of ten the HomePod does not show up. Other devices appear in the Airplay list consistently, ten out of ten times. Given that Airplay is a function of Bluetooth, is it still possible the problem is with my router and/or settings there? Any ideas appreciated.

the homepod don't do anything by bluetooth

it do airplay 2 which rely on wifi

if you read this Play audio on HomePod using iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

and set it up and play your facebook video then it should play out of the homepod
