How do I remove black border around songbooks in Books app on iPad Pro

There is a black border around my songbooks in the Books app that I cannot get rid of. It wasn’t there when I first bought the books. Now, I can’t get rid of it. And when I full screen a page, I cannot easily turn to the next page which makes it hard to play the piano. Can anybody help?

Books Page Navigation stuck in Scroll mode Page Navigation in the Books app on iPad got stuck in the Scroll mode after I changed it once which was the first time I messed around with it. Now every time I try to set the Page Navigation back to Slide or whatever else, it goes back to the Scroll mode by itself. I tried to close the app and then change it but it stays the same still when I open it. Sometimes the navigation is confused between the modes so it scrolls while also trying to slide the page. This issue makes the app unusable for me because the Scroll mode is quite unpractical with big books. I reported the bug. Any help much appreciated!

Books IOS 17 - blank pages being added In latest IOS 17.1 iPad updated, blank pages are being added in the middle of chapters of books. Restarting books and deleting and downloading the book does not solve the problem.
