What is the measurement from desk surface up to the bottom edge of a 27 inch studio display?

Around 4.56 inches/11.6 cm.

I would say your math is not bad, I just measured my Studio Display. With the display not tilted, it measured 11.6 cm from the bottom edge to the desktop. 😀
