LG monitor pixel issue with new Mac Mini M4 Pro

For a few years, I have used three LG UltraGear 32 2021 monitors with my 2018 Mac Mini i7 Intel chip computer. I just upgraded to the Mac Mini M4 Pro and connected these same three monitors. That day, one of the LGs started experiencing a blob pixel issue in the lower left-hand corner, which began shooting a white beam across the lower part of the screen. Within a short time, the entire screen went white, and well the monitor is done for.

My question is, did the new Mac Mini M4 Pro play a role in what happened to the LG monitor? I am curious before I purchase a new monitor: is there something I should look out for? Thank you.

The monitor that went kaput was connected to one of the USB-C ports in back with cable. The other two monitors, one is connected via the HDMI port and one is connected the same way the kaput monitor was via the USB-C port. Thank you for your reply.

Does that display work if it is connected via the HDMI cable and port..?

If it does, then maybe just the USB-C to DisplayPort cable to that display went bad.

It doesn't work if I connect it via HDMI, either. This was an odd experience, as these two LG Ultragears were bought together three years ago and have been kept well with no signs of distress. It's my first time using the new Mac Mini M4 Pro, and one of the monitors goes Kaput. I am not blaming my new Mac Mini; I am just trying to find what may have caused it. Perhaps it was the monitor's time to go.
