No internet when Ethernet & wi-fi are in use.

if you are experiencing no internet connection when you have an active and verifiable internet connection with the wi-fi enabled AND you have tested and confirmed that there is indeed an internet connection on both connections independent of one another, this can mean that you are experiencing an “Internet Sharing Loop.”

This more than likely means that you, or someone who has access to your computer l, has enabled internet sharing on your computer.

To allow your Mac to use both connections, you will need to disable internet sharing.

  1. Settings
  2. General
  3. Sharing
  4. Internet Sharing (Switch Off)

This will stop the sharing feature and now your wi-fi and Ethernet will work at the same time.
