HomeKit - change home owner

Hello! I am looking for a way to change the home owner in the HomeKit app. I recently moved back in with my parents and my father is currently the owner of the home but he is struggling to keep up with the technology and would like to transfer ownership to me. It currently seems that this is not an option but I’d like to figure out how his can be done (if possible after all) or at least an official response from Apple as to when it is estimated this will become possible.
