Every year, when the next Pro models are released, the previous Pro models are discontinued. iPhone 15 Pro Models were discontinued when iPhone 16 Pro models were released. And next fall, when iPhone 17 Pro models are released, the current iPhone 16 Pro models will be discontinued.

So no, it doesn't mean there was anything wrong with the 15 Pro at all.

No. It’s just newer models designed with newer hardware to meet with the most-recent stands in the year it was released. Apple typically provides update for 7 years at max, and then discontinuing any realer of updates —sounds like a gig, but technology changes, and you you’ll be kept up with the world’s most-recent hardware advancements. When an iPhone is incomparable with a new iOS, it is because it does not have the hardware capable of running it.

During the days of COVID, multitasking(running many apps at once) became a big ordeal, and appeared from that and made things much faster.
