Swiping between watch faces triggers complication after the swipe

every time I try to swipe to change the face on my Series 10, if there was a complication in the previous face in the area where i initially touched with my finger, the complication will trigger its app as soon as I lift my finger.

This is a seriously annoying UI bug. There should be no trigger if there is a swipe in progress.

There was another thread about it that got locked so I am not the only one with this problem.

Before the forum-karma diggers no -geniuses come posting nonsense about how to try to solve this from my side, don’t: this is a bug or UI design error. Apple needs to solve it. From what I read it started happening on watchOS11

Apple Watch Series 10, watchOS 11

Apple does not read this user-to-user technical support forum for feedback.

But you can send Apple feedback via:

I find I have to start the swipe from the very edge. Actually starting with my finger on the case, and then swiping completely across the screen to avoid triggering a complication. And sometimes that does not work.

You can always turn off swiping and use the other method for switching screens. Press and hold until the screen shrinks down, then start swiping left or right to the desired screen. Press the Digital Crown when you are finished.
