I would like to know if there is a way to receive live TV broadcasts using my iPad Pro possibly with an external antenna and tuner. If so, please explain the products and procedures needed.....

You would need a specific iPad compatible tuner and its associated app that can use the tuner device for this.
I can only find tuners that have Android apps, so you will need to look for something that works on an iPad.
For example: MyGica USB TV Tuner PT682C - Amazon.com
That one only seems to have an Android app though.
You won't be able to just get a random antenna and a random app and make them play nice together.
Best bet is to start a search in the App Store for a tuner app, and see if their associated tuner box is still available.

There are fewer and fewer options every year. There’s not the demand there used to be. Good luck on your exploration of options for your iPad.
Thanks so much for the info, I was thinking along the lines you suggested. I’m hoping a solution to this issue would become available as it would be extremely useful during a major national security event where an iOS device would become even more useful.
