Text edit glitches in IPhone 11Pro IOS 18.1.1

Hi,

Whenever I try to edit a text message, The cursor won’t appear where I click on the message to edit. It jumps from where I’m trying to edit to another line entirely and sometimes the cursor lands in the middle of a completely different word. It makes editing any text messages so frustrating and time consuming. I do have my font set bigger. Could that be the problem? If so, please fix it!
