Some keys require multiple presses on iPad Pro built in keyboard

When typing on the on-screen keyboard, certain letters like “t” and “r” won’t type unless I hit them 10-12 times. It makes typing nearly impossible. I have upgraded to the latest software, rebooted many times, checked keyboard settings, etc.

If the keyboard is partially unresponsive, this may be a software issue if that section of the screen is only problematic when using the keyboard. If there are issues with that section of the screen whether the keyboard is actively in use or not, then it may be a hardware issue. Since you’ve already tried troubleshooting, I’d recommend visiting a support center (Apple, device provider, etc.) where they can further investigate and make a recommendation, possibly a screen replacement or new device.
