Listening to music on 2 bluetooth speakers at same time

I'm having trouble playing music on multiple Bluetooth devices at the same time...

I can connect to both of my Bluetooth speakers, but I'm not finding an option to listen to music on both of them simultaneously. I can only toggle between the two connected devices.

Am I to believe/understand that this option only available on apple devices like air pods and beets but not if the speakers are not apple brand? :(
