Please help ASAP! I’ve been raking my brains for hours. No matter what I’ve tried I can NOT get photos (not video) to vertically align in imovie on iPhone (NOT ipad)
When I use camera and set ratio to 16:9 vertically the whole pic is still not fitting. I can’t seem to find how to pinch in or out for VERTICAL alignment.
I so desperately need help ASAP.

As you have found, iMovie for iPhone does not have a pinch feature for photos, but only for videos.
As a workaround, you can save the photo as a .mov slideshow in the iPhone photos app, and then import it as a video into your iMovie project. That should make the pinch feature available.
