Constant audio stutter with USB interfaces on Mac Studio M1 Max

I have a Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200m, an Audient Evo4, and an iFi Hipdac 2 that have been confirmed to work fine over various cables to my iPad, iPhone, and laptop.

Audio from the Mac Studio's internal speaker and 3.5mm port also works fine.

However, if I plug any of those devices into the Mac studio (I tried the USB A and C ports and using an unpowered USB hub in between them), there are constant stutters in the audio no matter what sampling rate I use.

This occurs with streaming and downloaded audio.

Has anyone found a fix to this issue?
