iPod shuffle not recognized on Apple Music

ipod shuffle not recognized in apple music. I can see my library but not able to see new shuffle to move music over. also itunes for windows does not have my library, when it comes up nothing is showing.

Can't add songs to shuffle using autofill playlist Hi, I have an iPod shuffle green 2nd generation that I can't add music on it. I tried to use iTunes on a PC and a MAC with the same issue. iTunes is updated (on PC) at 12.12.7 and shuffle 1.0.4. I select a playlist in the "autofill from" dropdown and click on autofill. Then an error message appears : iTunes cannot add any songs to the iPod "xxx" because it already contains all the songs in the playlist "xxx". But the iPod Shuffle is empty. I even tried to restore it. Thanks for your help!

You cannot put music from the Apple Music subscription service onto an iPod Shuffle. Also, while you have Apple Music switched on, you will not be able to see your music library.
