Stop sending notifications about private relay

I am being driven completely insane by up to 50 notifications EVERY HOUR from Apple informing me that private relay is either on or off. I don't want any notifications but there doesn't seem to be a way to stop them without disabling the private relay function which I want to maintain. It seems as if Apple wants us to give up and switch this function off so they can harvest the data that comes from being able to track your online choices. It is maddening.
