How do I delete personal data from iPad Air 2 without affecting newer iPad?

I have 2 iPads. I want to donate the iPad air2. Is there a way to delete personal information from iPad air2 without it being deleted from the newer iPad. I realize I can delete items individually but that would be tedious. I want something a little less time consuming.
