Mac Mini 2020 Stuck In Device Firmware Recovery Mode

OK so, I pulled out my old Mac mini from roughly 2 years ago just to see what’s on it. Upon starting it up I got a blinking yellow/orange white that indicated it was in device firmware recovery mode. I put it into DFU and attempted to flash the operating system using the finder on my MacBook Air running 14.7.2 . it Continued to fail, so I tried with Apple configurator, that would fail at the “unzipping” stage. I get an error at this stage (photo attached) on the mac im using to restore the mac mini, at the same time the light on the mac mini returns to white, but doesn’t boot. I do understand that I will lose everything but at this point I just want it to work again.
