itunes not playing properly

Again, I don't know what you mean by "click on page". Someone else here may understand what you mean, though you may need to explain further. Meanwhile, perhaps this will help:

Are the songs all checkmarked? If not, then unless things have changed since last I used iTunes, it will play the selected song and then stop. Not sure what you mean by "on site".
