Pages will not load on my iPad Pro

It takes two or three times of clicking on pages to get them to load. This is a new problem and I believe others are having it as well. My iPad Pro is only a year old. This should not be happening.

Pages app crashing upon opening after update to IOS 18.2.1 using an iPad Pro 11 inch, second generation. Pages will open to the splash screen, but the app crashes immediately upon selection of any options or opening a previous document. Restarting does not solve the problem. In addition, when checking for new IOS updates, there returns a message that an error has occurred and that it can not check for a new update at this time.

Pages app won’t work I’ve done the 17.2 and 17.2.1 updates just this morning. But before those updates, and after them, I cannot get Pages app to work on either my iPad or iPhone. This came on very suddenly. There are important things I have in Pages, and I need to get it back ASAP
