Unable to sign out of child’s Apple ID on iPad, button greyed out

I had screen time enabled on my child's devices. Then I signed out of my Apple ID on my iPad and signed in as my child. Now I cannot sign out, the button is greyed out. I tried everything that was suggested: turning off all limitations, trying ll different options within the screen time, focus mode etc. I am done with apple. I have already ordered an android device for my child, but I still need to solve this issue.

Screen Time won’t turn off for my child I had Screen Time enabled for both my kids. Today I wanted to turn it off. For one child this worked just fine: I went to the child’s Screen Time settings on my iPhone and click the “Turn off Screen Time” button and done. Most of the Screen Time settings UI disappears and there’s only a button to enable it again. However, for my other child this doesn’t work. When I click “Turn off Screen Time” nothing happens. I also tried on his phone, but there is no Turn off Screen Time button in his settings. Maybe because it is managed from my phone/account. Does anybody know what’s going on?

Screen time keeps turning off on my child's phone I have 2 children tagged to my apple account. I enabled screen time on both their devices. For one child, screen time is working just fine. For the other, screen time just keeps disabling itself totally. Symptoms: I enable screen time on my child's device. I set downtime. App limits. A passcode. All the settings. I see them set on the child's phone. 30 seconds later.... my phone says screen time is not enabled on my child's device. And checking his device, screentime isn't there at all. Troubleshooting done: I've logged out of iCloud and back in on my child's device. No fix. I've logged out of iCloud and back in on my own device. No fix. I've restarted both devices along with the log-in/log-out. No fix. I've seen this problem on other discussions, but there's no resolution. Does any one have any magic fix please? Screentime is invaluable to managing my kids device time.

One More Minute is disabling Screen Time As per the title. I’ve been having a problem with my children’s devices since installing the iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 update. Where previously the devices would lock at the Downtime times set in the Screen Time settings app, now they can continue unlocked through the night. There was always the ability to tap the One More Minute button to give themselves time to leave a game, or finish watching a video and I could always enter my passcode and give them an extra 15 minutes at the weekend. If I’m already there before their Downtime allowance runs out, I can enter the passcode and they get the exact time extension that I give them and the devices lock at the new time as expected. Ive found what breaks it though: it’s that One More Minute option. If it gets tapped, then Screen Time gets turned off everywhere. On my iPad, in the screen time settings for their account, Downtime is now off. The Scheduled and Block at Downtime sliders are both off. All the Content and Privacy settings get reset to default. If I toggle the Scheduled slider button back to On, then my iPad suddenly remembers that the children’s accounts are supposed to be off at this time of night and it immediately locks them all, but it still shows the default lockdown time of 10pm. After a few moments the settings all reload and show the times and Content settings that I’d set the day before appear in there. This is repeatable and recurs nightly if and only when that One More Minute button gets tapped. All the devices, including my own are on iOS16.2 and iPadOS 16.2. I’ve previously shut them all down and disabled Screen Time from my own iPad before running through the Screen Time setup from fresh, as iOS 16 introduced new options in that setup that some people think are the reasons for Downtime breaking, but it did not fix the issue for me. It is definitely narrowed down to One More Minute.

If your child was under 13 then the account cannot be disabled.
