How can I delete music from my Apple Photos?

It has been this way for several years now. You have two options to get rid of the background music for memories:

1. turn the volume of the iPhone before you open any memory for viewing. Watch out - some of the search results may be memories, don't touch those
2. Or choose a different, less annoying background music from your Music library, when the memory starts playing. Personalize your memories

Currently it is not possible to make memories or slideshows silent by default - the slideshows are handled like memories as well. Make and play slideshows on iPhone - Apple Support There is no longer a silent way to enjoy our photos as a slideshow on iOS 18.

First off nothing has been done to your photographs. What has happened is that the app has created this wee video, with added music, from your photos which remain untouched and unharmed. It's a feature for this who like that sort of thing.

If you're of the opposite persuasion then scroll down to the bottom of the Photos window until you come to the Customise and Re-order link. Tap that and deselect Memories. Done.

We can't see your machine, much less read your mind. We rely on you to give us enough information so that we can understand your issue if we are to help. We need a full description of the issue, information on what devices or machines you're referring to, the operating system (and version of it) currently on the machine. What apps are you referring to? What you expect to happen, and where it fails. Err on giving too much information rather than too little.
