Problems ReLocating Logic Sound Library to External HD (Permissions Issue) I am trying to relocate my Logic Pro X Sound Library to my external HD to free up some of the ~70gb it takes up on my hard drive. I have downloaded all available sounds and reinstalled the sound library. The problem I run into is when I select Relocate Sound Library. After about 1 second of 'Calculating Sound Library Size,' I get an error that reads "The file “GospelChoir Yeah.bak” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission to view it. I am logged in as admin, so I should have full access. But what's more frustrating, I cannot find that file anywhere! Link FCP to a Sound Library on an External USB Drive I have FCP running on two of my machines, a Mac Pro and my MBP. I just successfully relocated my entire Sound Library and a couple of project files (in a folder called Logic) to an external SSD USB drive. That removes about 68GB of data from my HD. Now I want to relocate or simply link to this Sound Library on the external drive, on my MBP. Make sense? If I select Relocate Sound Library, my external drive (containing the entire Sound Library) is shown, but it's greyed out and the status indicates "Sound Library files exist here." Well, how do I tell FCP to use this library? "Open Sound Library Manager" doesn't offer any option to do this. I can change the Audio Recording Path in Project Settings, no problem. What am I missing?

Consistent Missing File Error When Reopening Projects in Logic Pro Has anyone else run into this? Every time I open an existing saved project, Logic gives me this message: “The audio file ‘(name)’ was not found in its expected location.” I always check the “Copy audio files into project” box when saving, and the files are definitely in the right folder. This only started happening over the past week. As you can see in the screenshot I attached the files are right there in the exact folder Logic is looking in, but for some reason it still can’t find them. I’ve tried using the “Search on all mounted volumes” option but that usually pulls in the wrong versions from other projects with similar file names. The only workaround I’ve found is manually locating and relinking each file which is super time-consuming when dealing with 100+ audio files. I’m on macOS 15.4.1 and Logic Pro 11.1.2. Apple Support wasn’t able to help, so they suggested I post here. If anyone’s experienced this or has a fix, I’d really appreciate the help.
