How can I restore deleted music from iPod Touch?

I managed to delete old playlist totaling 800 songs that were on my ipod touch which is now reset to factory settings in my craze to fix the problem i created been on the phone for numerous hours with different techs no one else but one straight up told me I have upload all the songs from scratch
