Sonoma 14.6.1 mailbox export issue

I simply want under Sonoma 14.6.1 to export mailboxes to an external secure disk. Select a Mailbox, right click to select Export and only the current unread emails are exported to the external disk with a very small .mbox file. Tried Command A to actually mark all emails and still only get unread emails. It used to work pre-Sonoma perfectly. Bug or is there now another way?

I cannot reproduce that. Control-click on a mailbox in sidebar, choose Export Mailbox...

and it is exported in its entirety.

Do you by any chance have the unread Filter turned on?

Thanks for the response, I did not have the unread filter on, there were 3 unread at the time along with all the others on. Possible it may be an M3 issue as the first time on this macbook. Maybe export it to the hard drive and not an external a perhaps a speed issue?
