Group text messages not working on TDS Mobile / AT&T

I switched to TDS Mobile earlier this week - they use AT&T for their service - I'm running an iPhone 12 Pro on iOS 18.2.1 - immediately on switching to TDS Mobile - I was no longer able to send or receive group text messages. According to TDS customer support this is a known issue and the carrier - AT&T - is allegedly working on it. I feel like they're blowing smoke trying to make me not jump ship immediately to another provider. Am I the only one having this problem? Anybody else out there unable to group text with TDS Mobile or AT&T? And if so - how long has this been going on? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Thanks vidter - it really makes me feel better to know it's not just me. I called TDS Mobile again today - knowing the issue wasn't with AT&T and was truly just with TDS. I basically said I needed some evidence they were actually working on the problem or were near a solution - they gave me the same old story that it wasn't anything they could control. I swear there's only one person who works there - every time I chat with an agent online or call customer support I get the same person - what are the odds of that? On the up side - he is familiar with my issue every time I call at least ;). Regardless - by the end of our conversation - I decided to switch carriers back to the one I came from - that actually does support group texting on an iPhone - and within an hour or so I was done with TDS Mobile. If anybody reading these posts hears that TDS Mobile has fixed their issue with group texting on an iPhone - let me know - I might consider coming back ;)

Nope no issue with AT&T. TDS mobile needs to fix the issue for you.
