Persistent email spam

For about 3 days now. I’ve been harassed over and over day and night. With a email thread nobody seems to get rid of. I contacted Apple. They say they will work on it but even they can’t fix this problem. I shouldn’t have to change my Apple ID over this problem with Apple. As we speak I’m still getting emails every 1 to 5 minutes. Inbox and junk folder. I need help

Are you blocking those email addresses? Unfortunately, many spammers have access to a seemingly endless number of email addresses, all with names that show up the same when they appear in your In Box. There is no quick solution to the problem of spam.

Apple offers some suggestion here.

One important note - DO NOT tap Unsubscribe. For spammers, that only verifies that yours is a working email. They will then sell it to other spammers.

Prevention is the key. Whenever you give out your email address, it is likely being sold to advertisers where you will get these SPAM emails. If someone sends you an email, Apple is responsible for delivering it to you. They do give you the option to filter emails to your junk folder. Blocking email addresses is an option, but usually not very effective because the spammers spoof the sending address so blocking one address will not prevent the same email from coming from another email address.

They do offer a service called Hide my Email, that lets you create email addresses to use on other sites making it easy to manage and delete those email addresses without having it affect your Apple ID. It does require a subscription to iCloud+ though.
