Why can’t I reply to a group text on my iPhone 13 Pro?

I have been in a group text for years and all of a sudden I receive texts but can’t reply.

iPhone group texts Since updating to iOS 16.1 my group texts that have android recipients are not sending. Sending & receiving to individual androids not an issue, only on group messages I can receive the group texts but can’t reply.. My SMS & ims settings are on. Tried toggling them on & off as well as soft resets. Nothing has helped.

I have not been removed from the group, and I don't see an error message. I simply don't have a box at the bottom to type a reply and send.

Not all text messages act this way and even the group that I am in I can reply and then I can't....
