iTunes continues to close before my iPhone is fully restored

I have connected iPhone to iTunes to restore and factory reset. However iTunes on a windows pc continues to shut down before iPhone has completed and have restarted 3 times already….

iPhone 11 freezes on iOS update and shuts down iTunes Got a notification to update phone to iOS 18.2.1 (I think). I have a lot of music on my phone, so I connect to iTunes to handle the update. In the early stages of the process (progress bar at ~5%), iTunes shut down. Now phone is stuck at the 5% level. Have tried hard restart and both update/restore options but get the same result - iTunes shuts down. When I reopen iTunes, it doesn't seem to recognize the phone (but oddly does been when I disconnect/connect it). any ideas???

iTunes closes during iOS18.3 update iPhone 14 Pro While updating with Win 11 iTunes, iTunes automatically closes. Now iTunes won't detect my phone. Tried with Apple Devices app. Stuck at 50% with no progress or error codes. Using USB A as using USB C causes "1109" error. Now my phone is a brick.
